School Rules
In essence our discipline is based on positive view of school whereby the child is the focus of our organisation methods and programmes and the school is rewarding stimulating experience for the child. We seek to promote positive intercation self discipline which is not based on fear and to teach strategies for establishing good relationships and dealing with problems that do arise.
We promote non-violence and would seek to reward rather than punish. In extremes we may withdraw privileges initiate counseling and contact parents.
1. We should respect persons and property
2. We should behave safely and stay in safe places
3. We should be in the right place at the right time.
Grounds and Facilities
School grounds are available for community use outside of school hours )8.30am-3.30pm weekdays). Application for any organised use should be made to the principal.
Dogs,horses and vehicles are not permitted on the school grounds.
We expect all users to care for the grounds and equipment.
School Facilities available for hire including:
- School Marae
- School Hall
- Several smaller rooms for meetings
- Fields and courts
