Enrolments

Children can be enrolled as new entrants from the age of five. A birth certificate is required when enrolling a new student.

We ask that new entrant students attend six classroom visits before they turn five. This helps ensure they are settled and comfortable in the classroom environment before officially starting school. Please contact the school office to arrange these visits.

At enrolment, we also require a current contact phone number, email address and at least two additional emergency contact numbers. Please keep the school updated with any changes to these details.

When new pupils start at Kawakawa Primary School, we hold a pōwhiri to welcome them and their whānau into our school community.
